Direct from Jeld-wen

Some items will be offered for "direct from Jeld-wen" delivery. These items will be sent from our supplier, Jeld-wen, using their couriers. Please note, the procedure differs from Doors to Windows, so please ensure you understand the relevant procedures of each product type.

Please note: If you order both windows and doors on this service, you will receive 2 separate deliveries as, even though they are from the same company, they come from different locations.

The services are outlined below:

Doors

  • Doors are usually delivered within 3-7 working days of your order.
  • The delivery company will contact you by phone or email to discuss the delivery day with you, so please ensure we have the correct contact details. They tend to have set days of delivery for set areas, so please be as flexible as you can in taking in your goods. If you cannot be available on the day they offer, then it may take a full week for the cycle to come back around.
  • If you are not present at the time of delivery the driver will attempt to call you. If no contact can be made they will leave a card for you to call them to reorganise delivery. They will also take a photo of your front door to show they have attempted delivery.

Damages, Returns and Cancellations

  • If any damage is visible to the packaging or door at the time of delivery, you can either refuse the item, or sign for it as damaged, writing this on the delivery note.
  • Should you open your door to find it damaged, you need to contact us within 14 days of receiving your item. We will need you to supply photos of the damage by email when reporting this. We will then forward this to Jeld-wen, who will issue a replacement.
  • If you change your mind on the door, let us know within 30 days of your order and Jeld-wen will collect or replace the door. For this to happen, the door must be in the same condition as it was received in (in its polythene packaging, untouched).
  • If you want to cancel an order in progress prior to delivery, please contact us and we will request the cancellation from Jeld-wen.

Windows

  • Windows are usually delivered within 3-7 working days.

Damages, Returns and Cancellations

  • Should you find the window to be damaged on opening it, please report this to us ASAP within 48hrs along with some photographs of the damage. We will then forward these to Jeld-wen. It will be decided by Jeld-wen, whether they replace, offer a partial refund or otherwise.
  • Should you wish to return your window, let us know within 14 days of receiving your item. With windows, there will be a return carriage cost, which will be yours to pay.  

General Advice
