We manufacture sliding sash timber windows to a high standard in most timbers. They are available with a wide range of ironmongery, glazing bar and moulding options to suit most houses. Our wooden sliding sash windows are made to a high spec using spring balances with tilting operation for easy maintenance. They have staff bead internally and externally for a traditional appearance, but on removing the inner staff beads (simply screwed on and off) the inner sash will tilt inwards, then by lowering the top (outer) sash you can disengage 2 catches and then the top one will tilt inwards also. These can then be slid off their brackets by removing the push in pin and so can be maintained/cleaned easily. We can also manufacture cord and weight sliding sashes on request.
All our made to measure timber windows are manufactured in-house in our own workshops. We produce a full specification for your approval before taking payment and once in production, they are heavily quality controlled throughout the process, so you can be sure they are produced to a high standard and to your agreed specification.
