Engineered Timber Section

Engineered timber is largely knotless (95%) and is excellent for painting and machining. It consists of finger jointed layers of timber glued together to make the section. Its knotless nature makes it the ideal choice for a very clean finish, as minimal filling and preparation is required. As the sections are made from several parts (Lamellas) glued together, engineered timber has a far more stable nature than its single piece pine equivalent, and is of the same strength. Engineered timber can be used internally or externally, as long as its appropriately treated. 90% of our made to measure items are now made from this timber.
