- M8 bolts needs a 8mm drill size, with the M10 needing a 10mm drill size.
- Minimum hole depth on the M8 is 40mm. So the extra length is for the thickness of product, example M8x100 will do up to 60mm thick timber.
- Minimum hole depth on the M10 is 50mm. So the extra length is for the thickness of product, example M10x100 will do up to 50mm thick timber.
